What is it?

The Badge 713 Mental Health Scholarship was founded by Amanda Langfitt in memory of her husband. He was a United States Army veteran and Cedar Rapids police officer who tragically lost his life in 2016. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide mental health services to those otherwise unable to to afford care. It was Officer Langfitt’s personal mission to serve others and this scholarship continues to do that in his spirit.
