It's ok to ask for help
At Covenant Family Solutions, we will walk beside you on your path to mental wellness. Our therapists strive to understand all parts of your life needing care. People do not live in isolation. Relationships, family, and the workplace all impact a person’s health. It takes courage to ask for help. When you are ready, rest assured that EAP services are:
- Confidential. Your conversations are between you and your therapist.
- Voluntary. The choice to pursue counseling services is yours alone.
- Free of charge. You will never see a bill for EAP services.
From problems to solutions
Problems are a normal part of life. Sometimes, finding the path to overcome your struggles can feel like an impossible challenge. Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is here to help you and your family cope with life’s challenges.
At Covenant Family Solutions we provide compassionate and non-judgmental care. Our experienced therapy team provides cutting-edge counseling services and includes providers who specialize in marriage and family therapy.
Problems rarely exist on their own. Typically, it’s many things working together that create mental health struggles. Our therapists always look at the big picture — not just at the problem itself. By looking at a situation from all points of view, we are able to provide the best mental healthcare to address all needs of an individual, couple, family, or work team. Our goal is to help the whole person or persons achieve continued wellness. No matter your struggle we are here to help.
We provide counseling for:
- Life Changes
- Internet Issues
- Problems at Work
- Workplace Balance
- Troubled Teens
- Play Therapy
- Eating Disorders
- Relationship Counseling
How It Works
It’s as simple as picking up the phone. Call 319-261-2292 to request EAP services. A member of our team will gather your basic information and identify needed services. They will then help you schedule your first visit with a member of our therapy team. We offer convenient locations in Marion, Cedar Rapids, Coralville, and Cedar Falls for appointments.
You and your therapist will meet and work together to find solutions to your problems and life challenges. If your problems require long-term assistance (outside of what is covered through EAP), your therapist can help you explore options to meet your needs.
Common Questions about EAP Services
Are EAP services confidential?
EAP services are confidential for employees and their families. Information is not shared with the employer unless the employee choose to inform their employer themselves.
How many sessions do I get?
The number of sessions covered through EAP is established by your employer. After the set number of sessions, individuals typically use their health insurance to cover visits if they wish to continue care. At Covenant Family Solutions we also offer a private pay scale based on income and affordability for each client.
Is there a fee for EAP services?
EAP is free to all employees and their immediate family. It is a benefit provided by the employer.
Can I choose who I see?
At Covenant Family Solutions we help connect you with a therapist that best fits your needs. We encourage you to visit our website to get to know our providers. You may also call and speak with a member of our team with any questions. Keep in mind some therapists may not have the availability or hours that you may need.
