Providing Support
She has found therapy to make a difference in her own life. In addition, she has seen those around her struggle as well. Therapy got her through tough times and taught her that she is not alone.
She has been described as empathetic, which is important to her. It shows that she is able to support others and care for them. She believes that change is possible, especially when compassion is provided. When she has empathy for others she is able to create an environment that facilitates change. Supporting others comes naturally for her and it is something she has done her entire life. Those around her have come to her for guidance through many different issues. For this reason, she believes in the importance of making sure no one feels alone during hard times.
Amanda strives to understand the environments that people live in. Often times, the family environment impacts people the most. She understands the different factors that are impacting individuals, and she is able to help them better.
Finding strength in others
Her belief is that everyone has strengths within them. Sometimes these strengths need to be fostered in a therapeutic environment. This motivates her to help clients tap into that and work towards a positive path. Amanda also enjoys being able to work with people of all demographics. She values interaction with people in all walks of life.
It is rewarding for her when she sees a sense of relief in people, and they can finally tell their story. She loves being able to witness the small changes in people’s lives and help them feel a sense of accomplishment.
