Ali is passionate about working with children, adolescents and adults. She has experience walking alongside individuals working through anxiety, depression, relational struggles, self-esteem, loneliness and stress management.
Her goal as a therapist is to create a safe space for individuals to share openly & honestly, while also empowering people to make changes in their lives. Ali’s approach to client work is gentle, compassionate & always non-judgmental.
As a therapist, she uses a variety of strategies including: mindfulness, strengths based, assessing values, and play therapy. Ali works from an Adlerian theoretical orientation and believes it is important to look at individuals holistically. She discusses the different roles individuals play within their communities, how they are connected, how they find meaning and helping them discover their unique strengths. Ali also enjoys working with youth in individual and group settings during her off hours.
A huge Harry Potter Fan, you may catch her reading one of her favorite books or watching one of the movies from the series on a quiet weekend. She also has an old soul and enjoys crocheting with friends in her free time.
