Get to Know Lauren

Selecting a mental health provider is a very personal decision. Learn a bit more about Lauren and what to expect when you or a loved one receive care with us at Covenant Family Solutions. Our mission is to unleash your potential.

Lauren Mai, LMHC works with clients from all walks of life, but is especially passionate about working with children to help them better their life and strengthen their relationships.

Creating a meaningful life

Lauren is motivated by her desire to help others create a life that is fulfilling for them. As a new mother who experienced a lot of her exciting “firsts” during a global pandemic, she is well aware of the challenges many are facing.

Despite the anxiety, stress, and isolation many of us have experienced, or will experience, it’s important to continue finding the meaning in our lives. It can be especially difficult for individuals who are navigating life changes or things out of their control to identify, especially when we are IN it. It’s always more challenging to see the larger picture when we are on the ground level of something.

Relatable and upbeat

In session, Lauren is a bubbly and personable therapist. She is relatable, especially for women or new parents, as she is going through those adjustments firsthand.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and doing various projects. Organizing things and creating lists are coping skills that she utilizes to stay sane! In addition, she enjoys watching wrestling, both collegiate and Olympic, and getting a round of golf in when the weather allows.

Get Direction for Your Life!

Find inspiration on your path to mental wellness. Please note, these articles are not a replacement for personal medical advice.

How do you know if your child might have ADHD or if their behavior is typical, albeit a bit overly energetic? The answer is you don’t have to know. Parents and caregivers are not expected to know everything about their children.

When you are suffering from poor sleep hygiene, the impacts can be felt in every part of your life. It is much harder to manage emotions and think clearly when you are tired all the time.

Don’t be afraid to ask for help! Whether it’s from a friend, family member, trusted colleague or a professional, people are out there to help.
