Get to know Megan

Throughout her life, Megan Crawford has sought out therapy as she navigated challenging life circumstances. These included relationship struggles, divorce, single parenting, life transitions, a loved one struggling with addiction, and the loss of a close friend. She found therapy to be a safe space to explore feelings, fears, strengths, and to address thoughts that were blocking her growth. Though therapy she gained the courage to make positive decisions that supported her emotional well-being. Now, she wants to provide that same source of strength for you.

We are all connected

Megan believes that, as humans, we are all connected. With each person who is mentally and emotionally healthy, we are all positively impacted. Unfortunately, there is still a stigma with mental health (although it is getting better). This makes seeking therapy a brave decision. Megan hopes she can play a small part in normalizing the importance of prioritizing mental health. Eventually, seeking mental health support becomes the obvious decision instead of a brave one.

How therapy works

Through therapy, Megan will shepherd you through a process of self-discovery to solidify your sense of self, health, and direction. She will also connect you to valuable insights, perspectives, and tools to support your mental and emotional wellbeing. Megan strives to create a supportive, non-judgmental safe space for my clients to share freely, learn effectively, and grow deeply.

The moment the “lightbulb” turn on for people when they realize that they have the tools, inner strength, and resiliency within them to handle whatever life throws their way is nothing short of amazing! Your success through therapy is the direct result of your hard work and willingness to try out new behavior that positively impacts their mental health. Megan is just there to light the path.

Get direction for your life!

Most of our poor decisions and behaviors that we wish we could re-do are driven by our feelings. In most cases we are probably reacting from an emotion and not even really thinking!

ODD is one of the most common behavioral disorders among kids. Unfortunately, people exhibiting these behaviors are sometimes mislabeled as "naughty" or "bad," which can be damaging.

Regulate your emotions and then engage in co-regulation with your teen from a place of curiosity and compassion.
