Common Questions

Making a move in your career is an important decision. We have questions for you, but you probably have lots of questions about us too. Here are a few of the most common questions we hear from applicants. Feel free to reach out to our HR team if you have any additional questions.

Our culture at CFS is built around teamwork. No matter your role in our organization, your thoughts and ideas matter and we compile input from throughout the organization prior to making decisions. Our teammates support and uplift one another throughout the work day and beyond. At CFS, we are a team.

Aside from our supportive culture, professionals choose to call CFS their (work) home because we offer an unparalleled environment for growth and opportunity. At CFS, everyone can unleash their potential!

After submitting your application, it will be reviewed by our HR team. Top applicants will then be asked to do an initial virtual interview with Human Resources. If successful, the final stage of the interview process will include an in person interview with the hiring manager/team for the role. Before extending an official job offer, we also require necessary background checks and credentialing verification.

At CFS we have a Credentialing Specialist on our team that guides candidates through the process. We will provide a list to you with the documents and information needed and then will navigate credentialing on your behalf. Once that process is successfully completed, an official written job offer will be provided to you.

Our clinics are open from 8AM until 5PM Monday through Friday. That said, depending on your role and flexibility within it, your actual work hours may vary slightly.

At CFS we offer competitive hourly and salary compensation options for team members. The compensation plan depends on the role within the company.

At CFS we want to set you up for success! We equip all team members with a company issued computer. Provider offices are furnished with a desk, chair, and sofa/loveseat. Our team members are also encouraged to bring in items to personalize their offices or working space.

At CFS we value providing quality mental healthcare. Rather than telling you how many clients you must maintain on your caseload, we instead look at the average number of sessions you have each week. For therapy providers that expectation is 25 per week and for medication management providers, the expectation is 55 weekly. Expectations are reduced for those in leadership roles.

YES! We love supporting the communities we serve. Each of our employees receives a paid volunteer day each year to donate their time to a local nonprofit. Additionally, we frequently support community events through outreach.

Meltdowns, tantrums, defiance, or aggressive behavior can mask underlying feelings of anxiety. Typically when we see a child being defiant at home or school, our first thought might be, “that child is angry” and “they don’t like to follow rules.” Or we might say “that child is disrespectful.” But, underneath that anger or tantrum, are often feelings of overwhelming anxiety or worry.

If a mother's anxiety goes untreated throughout her entire pregnancy, she is likely releasing high amounts of cortisol. Also known as the stress hormone. In turn, this affects her baby. Potential complications include prematurity and low birth weight.

How do you know if your child might have ADHD or if their behavior is typical, albeit a bit overly energetic? The answer is you don’t have to know. Parents and caregivers are not expected to know everything about their children.
