A Provider of Hope
Michelle brings a warm and relaxed approach to therapy. Her easy-going, collaborative, and respectful demeanor creates a safe environment in which clients feel comfortable enough to open up and be honest. Michelle understands that each person is the expert in their own life and that her role is to help connect the dots to make sense of all the hard stuff, developing tools and skills along the way that fit each individual.
Michelle is skilled in working with adults, children, and couples. One of her passions is helping people with ADHD across the lifespan better understand themselves, how their brains work, and how to use healthy strategies. When working with couples and families, Michelle is a translator and pattern-spotter. She creates space to unpack the messy, hard parts of these relationships and works to find new ways of connecting and breaking ineffective cycles.
Michelle finds great honor when people begin to better understand themselves and shift from self-criticism to self-compassion. She believes that it is a privilege to watch a child find their voice or a couple recognize the unhealthy patterns holding them back.
