Licensed Mental Healthcare Provider

"You don't need to have the right words or have it all figured out to start therapy. Just come as you are and we'll sort through the messy stuff together. "

My goal is for people to leave therapy feeling understood, a little lighter, and with a clearer idea of what to do next.

Get to Know Michelle

Selecting a mental health provider is a very personal decision. Learn a bit more about Michelle and what to expect when you or a loved one receive care with us at Covenant Family Solutions. Our mission is to unleash your potential.

A Provider of Hope

Michelle brings a warm and relaxed approach to therapy. Her easy-going, collaborative, and respectful demeanor creates a safe environment in which clients feel comfortable enough to open up and be honest. Michelle understands that each person is the expert in their own life and that her role is to help connect the dots to make sense of all the hard stuff, developing tools and skills along the way that fit each individual.

Michelle is skilled in working with adults, children, and couples. One of her passions is helping people with ADHD across the lifespan better understand themselves, how their brains work, and how to use healthy strategies. When working with couples and families, Michelle is a translator and pattern-spotter. She creates space to unpack the messy, hard parts of these relationships and works to find new ways of connecting and breaking ineffective cycles.

Michelle finds great honor when people begin to better understand themselves and shift from self-criticism to self-compassion. She believes that it is a privilege to watch a child find their voice or a couple recognize the unhealthy patterns holding them back.

Holistic Care and Mental Health Medication

Mental health medications and a holistic lifestyle can't just only coexist, the combination can be a game changer for mental health.

Mental Health Medications

You may be faced with the question, “Does my child need medication for their mental health?” If your child is worried, sad, angry, or overwhelmed, encourage them to talk to a trusted adult. If they are struggling with things like regulating emotions, controlling anger, or focusing it may be a good idea to discuss it with a medical professional.

AAPI

While we cannot change the past, it IS possible to stop the cycle of intergenerational trauma and prevent it in future generations. Community support and resources play an important role.
