Get to Know Brianna

Selecting a mental health provider is a very personal decision. Learn a bit more about Brianna and what to expect when you or a loved one receive care with us at Covenant Family Solutions. Our mission is to unleash your potential.

Rooted in Connection

Brianna deeply believes that progress in therapy is based on connection. Real human connection that helps people feel safe in the moments when they need it the most. This belief is her motivation to walk beside her patients as they find their way back to themselves–especially in the messy, uncertain, and heartbreaking parts of life. Brianna also understands the neuroscience of trauma and mental health, incorporating this into her approach to create safety and connection.

As a client of Brianna’s, you’ll see a mix of creativity, humor, and playfulness alongside education, reflection, and accountability. She will emphasize the development of insight, skill building, mindfulness, self-compassion, and the disruption of patterns that no longer serve you. Together, you will celebrate what is working, strengthen what needs support, and gently shake up what is holding you back.

When not providing top-notch therapy, you might find Brianna watching a Cubs game, sharing the excitement and heartbreak with friends. Beyond baseball, Brianna is also bookworm, often reading over 200 books a year! She also finds time to color, build Legos, and participate in trivia nights.

Holistic Care and Mental Health Medication

Mental health medications and a holistic lifestyle can't just only coexist, the combination can be a game changer for mental health.

Mental Health Medications

You may be faced with the question, “Does my child need medication for their mental health?” If your child is worried, sad, angry, or overwhelmed, encourage them to talk to a trusted adult. If they are struggling with things like regulating emotions, controlling anger, or focusing it may be a good idea to discuss it with a medical professional.

AAPI

While we cannot change the past, it IS possible to stop the cycle of intergenerational trauma and prevent it in future generations. Community support and resources play an important role.
