Inspired by her own children

Dawn is a mom of three, with two of her children having autism spectrum disorders (ASDs). Her kids have inspired her to be there for other children, adults, and families walking similar paths.

Prior to becoming a mental health therapist, Dawn spent over ten years supporting individuals with ASDs succeed in personal and educational growth. She also assisted families as they learned to better communicate and identify resources in the community.

Outside of the office, Dawn enjoy crafting and taking on DIY projects around her home. She hasn’t met a Pinterest project yet that she wasn’t willing to at least try.

Please reach out if you are ready to take on the challenges in your path or your child’s. Dawn will be there to welcome you with care and compassion.

Get Direction for Your Life!

Find inspiration on your path to mental wellness. Please note, these articles are not a replacement for personal medical advice.

Mental health medications and a holistic lifestyle can't just only coexist, the combination can be a game changer for mental health.

You may be faced with the question, “Does my child need medication for their mental health?” If your child is worried, sad, angry, or overwhelmed, encourage them to talk to a trusted adult. If they are struggling with things like regulating emotions, controlling anger, or focusing it may be a good idea to discuss it with a medical professional.

While we cannot change the past, it IS possible to stop the cycle of intergenerational trauma and prevent it in future generations. Community support and resources play an important role.
