Courtney Pietig, LISW

(She/Her/Hers)

Licensed Mental Healthcare Provider

"My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported while we work together to navigate life's challenges. "

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, you don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin. I believe healing happens through connection, collaboration, and feeling safe enough to be your authentic self.

Get to Know Courtney

Selecting a mental health provider is a very personal decision. Learn a bit more about Courtney and what to expect when you or a loved one receive care with us at Covenant Family Solutions. Our mission is to unleash your potential.

Warm, Direct, and Collaborative

With nearly a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, Courtney applies a person-centered, trauma-informed approach that recognizes the impact that experiences have on self-perceptions, relationships, and world views. Her collaborative approach results in therapy that is a conversation, not a lecture. She believes that her role is to offer guidance, evidence-based strategies, and honest feedback that build on your strengths and move you towards the goals that matter most to you.

While making space for difficult moments, Courtney also understands that humor can have an important role in therapy, as laughter can help us reconnect with ourselves, build resilience, and remind us that healing does not always have to be heavy!

Courtney enjoys working with individuals experiencing anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, stress, and parenting challenges. Whether processing past experiences, learning new coping skills, or looking for a new way forward, Courtney will work with you to create meaning and lasting change at the pace that is right for you.

Find inspiration on your path to mental wellness. Please note, these articles are not a replacement for personal medical advice.

Mental health medications and a holistic lifestyle can't just only coexist, the combination can be a game changer for mental health.

You may be faced with the question, “Does my child need medication for their mental health?” If your child is worried, sad, angry, or overwhelmed, encourage them to talk to a trusted adult. If they are struggling with things like regulating emotions, controlling anger, or focusing it may be a good idea to discuss it with a medical professional.

While we cannot change the past, it IS possible to stop the cycle of intergenerational trauma and prevent it in future generations. Community support and resources play an important role.
