Tip – November 24
Sometimes the hardest part about stressful times is taking the first step. Create two lists with your top three stressors: One for yourself and one for others. Both matter, but sorting them can help you decide where to begin.

How often do we approach stress to understand it and how often do we approach it to remove it? Take a moment to focus on flipping the script to understand your stress.
Seasons change in nature and life. Consider how an area of your life will change season in some way and focus on one positive part of that change.
Family can be our biggest source of support (and stress). Find one time this week to have a safe and connected moment with a family member you cherish.
Sometimes when stressed, we eat more than we would like. Slowing down can help. Time how long it takes you to eat your next meal. Then, intentionally take longer to eat the following meal.
Stress has a way of storing itself in our body. Stretch for a few minutes each day to relieve your muscles and then take a breath to filter out the stress.
When in a rush, we can easily make emotional decisions (good or bad). Try taking three full breaths before making a decision.
Love is something that is valued above all else. However, it is very easy to only practice that toward others. Take some time to contribute a purposeful form of love toward yourself today.
It has been said that we are a product of our environment. The turmoil from our environment comes from when we have no power or say over staying or leaving that environment (during childhood, for example). Consider the power you hold in choosing your environment.
Feeling Safe
I feel safe at CFS. I know the staff is professional and understanding and that my thoughts and feelings will be heard and are valid.
Building Strength
My treatment at CFS has helped me find the ability to continue on through a horrible time. The office staff always greets me with a smile, that’s great.
Embrace New Ideas
It’s great to have someone to talk through my thoughts and feelings with — to get things out into the universe and have a neutral party help me learn how to process, try new things, embrace different ideas.
