Tip – August 25

By Covenant Family Solutions

Listening can be hard to hear. It is not uncommon in romantic relationships or friendships to be planning out the next thing we want to say, while also listening to what our partner/friend is currently saying. Since it is easy to fall into this pattern, we risk the chance of only focusing on what we want to say and need. Try listening only to what your partner or friend says at least once a day to practice healthy listening skills. Soon you may find that you need to say less to connect more.

Get direction for your life!

How do you know if your child might have ADHD or if their behavior is typical, albeit a bit overly energetic? The answer is you don’t have to know. Parents and caregivers are not expected to know everything about their children.

When you are suffering from poor sleep hygiene, the impacts can be felt in every part of your life. It is much harder to manage emotions and think clearly when you are tired all the time.

Don’t be afraid to ask for help! Whether it’s from a friend, family member, trusted colleague or a professional, people are out there to help.
